HtE Recruitment is a national recruitment agency, with our main office at Manchester Airport business park. HtE Recruitment was founded 13 years ago in 2007 as a Chef recruitment agency. The agency has grown and developed over the past 13 years and HtE Recruitment now recruits within Hospitality & Catering, Data Analytics & Digital  and FMCG sectors. We are developing the agency by setting up divisions, to have people who are passionate about an area to specialise in that area.  We have a culture of looking out for each other, supporting each other, taking pride in our work and doing all we can to support our clients. Our consultants work for one of the 3 divisional sectors, this way we can recruit people with a passion for the sector they work in - Hospitaity industry /  IT industry / FMCG industry. Current positions

Recruitment Consultant (IT Division).

IT Recruitment Consultant.  Within our IT Recruitment division, we focus on the North West market with  UX Designers, Front End Developers, PPC Managers,  .net Developers and  BI Developers. As a Recruitment Consultant you will be responsible for taking on new positions, sales calls and candidate registration calls. Our consultants focus on one part of the market and you be responsible for growing the desk of one of the areas. 

We have a internal database of candidates in the North West & a dedicated desk linkedin account for this patch. We are looking for a candidate who can be part of driving this division forward.

Over the past 12 years, we have worked with some of the UK's top companies, both on a National and Regional basis. We work with a wide range of clients in the 3 sectors we recruit within.


The industry

Our team recruit within 3 sectors. Each consultant is allocated to a sector they are passionate about. This is very important, as you need to be passionate about the sector you are recruiting in. The sectors are: Hospitality & Catering, IT & Digital  and FMCG. It is important our team  know the sector they are recruiting within and passionate about it.

The office


Business park

We are based at the Business park at Manchester airport.  With parking on site, air conditioned office, 10 min walk from station, 2 mins drive to the M56.

The offices are modern and well kept, we rent from Regus a national serviced office provider. The extra we spend on rent with Regus, means we get a good quality office building to work in.

The location of the office is just off a major motorway within the Airport City area, based at the Airport City Business park.

Our office

Having a clean, air conditioned office to work in is very important. HtE Recruitment think our work home is as important as our home.
  • The office has tea and coffee in the serviced kitchen area, vending machines and onsite free parking
  • Bean to cup coffee machine for a friday coffee treat in the office.
  • Snack basket as a treat in months we hit team targets
  • We want to create experiences that last a life time and do a wide range of things including random themed days, for example we did afternoon tea in the office on the royal wedding day, American breakfast buffet on 4th July, Pancake day, Mexican themed lunch table, cheese & pate buffet.

  • Easy database to use and simple systems including paper day books, which keep the process easy and simple. The database is intergrated to make life easier for our consultant team.

Onsite cafe

Our offices are based in a office community building with a onsite Deli, selling breakfast items, sandwiches, hot sandwiches and hot food.

It is so important during the day our consultants can have hot or cold food, food is so important.

As well as the onsite cafe, we have a microwave in the office room and our own fridge. Consultants can bring food from home to heat up for lunch, if they do not want to use the onsite cafe.

Set lunch breaks, we  do not eat and work at the same time, like many agencies. We stop  for lunch. It is very important to have a break.

The team


10th Birthday

The team went to Hampton Manor to celebrate our 10th birthday. Having a 8 course tasting menu, at michelin level.
The michelin   chefs table was fantastic. This also included a night away at the Country house hotel as well as a Michelin meal.


Annual team meal

Our christmas meals have included 2 rosette menus, gastro pubs, Rosette gastro pubs and Rosette hotels. Each year we try and go somewhere new.  Most of our socials are based around food, with a mixture of offsite and onsite socials at different points of the year. As well as the annual meal we do cheese/pate day in the office, afternoon teas and other things.



It is very important to give opportunities to our team to learn and grow. This has included team members joining at trade shows. Other training has included 2 team members in 2017 doing a NVQ level 3 in Recruitment and options to do work place degree after a period of time.  All Trainee Consultants start on a internal course called HTE Academy, which gives practical knowledge of a wide  area and once completed the HTE Academy, you get allocated a desk.
