Transport planner in Ellesmere Port area

Fulltime Position

Transport planner required in the Ellesmere port area of the North West for a Haulage company, manage a fleet of 50 trucks. This is a growing business with growth plans for new markets next year. Transport planner, £28-32k. MONDAY TO FRIDAY 9AM-5PM

The role
As a transport planner you will help to manage the drivers rotas, log the hours, plan the routes, allocate the right drivers to the right load, be a listening ear for the drivers / deal with questions from the drivers, coordinate the Logistics side, coordinate the timings with the end companies. This role includes all the normal Transport planner duties.

Expeirence
We are looking for a candidate who can manage a fleet of a around 50 including multi drop and repeat loads. You will be very organised, good communication skills, good with the drivers, able to plan routes and coordinate rotas etc. This can be either as a Transport Planner or a Logistics coordinator or a Road Freight forwarder (with fleet management expierence).
