Fulltime Position
Sous chef required for a Mediterranean restaurant in Oxfordshire with good Mediterranean food. This establishment serves good quality produce and has a Mediterranean Restaurant serving seasonal Mediterranean produce. sous chef, 40k, fresh food, good standards.
The role
We are looking for a sous Chef with a fresh food background to help the head chef to run this kitchen. You will train new chefs, ensure each section is ready for service, jump on sections that are not coping in service and run the pass. They ensure the kitchen runs smoothly, the orders are made, the prep is done on time, each section is ready for service and cook in service. You will also cover the pass when the head chef is off. This role will include all the normal sous chef duties.
Experience
We are looking for a sous chef from a fresh food background who can support the head chef to manage a team in the kitchen and ensure good standards, high food hygiene ratings and everything is inplace.
