Fulltime Position
Pub Chef required for a fresh food pub in the Hertfordshire area with FREE LIVE IN, this pub has a recently refurbished kitchen. As the chef for the pub, you will create a traditional menu for the pub with Roasts and homemade pies. They use fantastic ingredients and pay extra for better quality produce. This pub chef role is the only chef in the kitchen & is of a head chef level, the pub chef is 100% fresh food and pays £35k + bonus + FREE LIVE IN.
The role
As a pub chef you will be the chef for the pub, you will ensure the menus are written, it a small menu approach, using great quality ingredients. you will order the produce, write them menus, prep the fridge and cook to order. You will also ensure the HACCP & allergens are all completed. this role will include all the normal pub chef/head chef duties
Experience
We are looking for a pub chef with a fresh food background, you will be able to cook British classics, be organised, able to work on your own and have great knife skills. you will be either a pub chef in a fresh food pub or a head chef or a sous chef looking for a new project and to work in a recently refurbished kitchen to launch a pub menu.
