Fulltime Position
Kitchen Manager required for a fresh food establishment, 40 hours, single shifts only. This is a really supportive environment & with it being single shifts only, it will be a nice range of shifts each week. The company really input into the staff with a extra day off, great training, Regular inhouse massages and well being service from a 3rd party. Salary £38k + service (approx. 5-6k per annum) = package of around £43-44k. This company is not all about profit, it is about looking after the staff and investing into the local area too. The culture in this kitchen is very different to many other kitchens.
The role
As a kitchen manager / Kitchen Lead you will work under the group Exec chef to run the day to day of this kitchen. You will train the chefs in the kitchen, ensure the wellbeing of the other chefs is being looked after & the culture of a safe & supportive environment is within the kitchen. You will ensure the prep is done and the prep lists are written, you will train new starters, ensure each area is ready and ensure a smooth service. It is all day dining with a all day menu. This role will include all the normal kitchen manager duties.
Experience
We are looking for a kitchen manager / kitchen lead with 1 year expeirence of kitchen management and 4 years as a chef, you will be from a fresh food kitchen background and able to train and develop new chefs.
