JUNIOR IMPORT CLERK in WITHAM
Fulltime Position
JUNIOR IMPORT CLERK (European Road Freight) , (WITHAM – Essex , based) required for a freight forwarder based in the essex area. Freight forwarding is a great sector to get into as no goods can enter or exit the UK without a forwarder doing the documents for this. A freight forwarder is like a travel agent for freight!. This role is paying upto £23-24k, 9am to 530pm and is based in the Essex area. If you would like to work for a sector like this, this is the role for you.
The role
As a junior operations administrator you will ensure all the paperwork is ready on time for the forwarders. No goods can entre or exit the uk without this, so the admin needs to be done on time and is correct. if the paperwork has been filled wrong or has the wrong codes, it will be stuck at the port. This role will include all the standard admin duties. This role will include all the normal operations administration duties.
Experience
We are looking for a administrator with about 1 year or more within administration. you will have Excellent telephone manner, Excellent customer service skills, Experience of dealing with customers and Logistics experience would be an advantage but not essential.
