Freight forwarder in Maidstone
Fulltime Position
Freight forwarder required I the Maidstone area, this role is within ocean imports at this freight forwarder. This company covers freight forwarding i different sectors and methods, this role is for the Ocea imports section. Salary 28-34, holidays increase to 33 days holiday with service and the hours are 8-5pm. This freight forwarder is well established and well known.
The role
We are looking for a freight forwarder who will run the ocean imports desk, this is for the FCL and LCL ocean operations. You will ensure the bookings on the ships are correct, the onward bookings are correct and the full end to end runs smoothly. You will work with the customs team to ensure the required documents are inplace. This role will include all the normal freight forwarder duties.
Expeirence
For this ocean freight forwarder, we are looking for a minimum 3 years’ experience in import ocean operations FCL and LCL. Candidate must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written. You will have worked on a Ocean desk for a freight forwarder.

Hours 8.00am to 5.00 pm
Salary 28,000 – 34,000 dependent on experience.
Pension.
20 Days holiday increasing to 25 days for loyal service plus all Bank Holidays
