Fulltime Position
Air Freight manager for a Logistics and freight forwarding company. This company both imports and exports goods via air for a wide range of companies and has a warehouse and bonded warehouse division as well. This role is for a Air freight forwarding part of the freight forwarder
The role
We are looking for a Air Freight Manager who will manage the Air freight department, you will manage a team off air freight forwarders, both export and import focused forwarders and the freight administrator. You will ensure everything runs smoothly and ensure a clear line of communication with the customs clearance manager and customs clearance team, to ensure everything is inplace ontime. This role will include all the normal Air Freight Manager duties.
Experience:
We are looking for a Air Freight Manager from a freight forwarding background within both Air import and air exports. You need a strong knowledge of the different types of goods, the laws for air freight and the rules with the various airlines for air freight.
