Fulltime Position
2nd chef required for a small & upcoming food catering business, with a new site located within a pub in the Welwyn area. This company will be taking over the food for the pub, serving South American street food style food. They also food food trucks and private events as well. It is a really exciting time to join this business and be part of the next steps of it. You will be oing to the next levels with the company, helping them grow to the next step. This is a full time position, mainly based within the kitchen of this pub but there could be some other events as well, which makes it excitting. salary £30-32k depending.
The role
We are looking for a 2nd chef who will support the head chef in the launching of the food within this pub, this company are taking the kitchen over. They will be launching a south American food menu for this pub. You will help the head chef create a new menu and launch it within this pub, you will ensure the prep is done and cook to order for the menu. They will also be selling some of the street concept dishes on justeat/uber-eats etc etc as well. You will support the head chef in taking it to the next level. This role will include all the normal 2nd chef duties.
Experience
We are looking for a 2nd chef from a fresh food background, you will be easy going and able to go with the flow as they launch something new, you will want to be part of this. You will have food hygiene. Due to the nature of the company doing food trucks and private events, being able to drive could be helpful, the role is based in this pub kitchen but will open up more opportunities within this fast growing company.
