Sous chef – near Newcastle
Fulltime Position
Junior Sous chef required for a establishment in driving distance of Newcastle and Hexham. This kitchen shifts tend to be Midday – around 9.30pm, 5 days a week, Junior sous chef salary is £30k + tips in addition working within a team of around 10-13 chefs and benefits include free gym membership, free parking, straight shifts, canteen.
The role
We are looking for a junior sous chef who can support the head chef and sous chef in the running of the kitchen, you will ensure the pass runs smoothly when the sous chef and head chef is not in, you will help train new chefs, jump on sections that require support and run a key section if and when required. This role will include all the normal junior sous chef duties.
Experience
We are looking for a junior sous chef from a fresh food kitchen who can do both events and restaurant service, you will be able to run a team of over 10. you will be organised and be able to ensure service runs smoothly
