Fulltime Position
Business Development Manager required for a freight forwarding company – Air/Ocean freight, this role is remote based [meeting clients, home based on none meeting days and one team day in manchester every two weeks]. This company is growing very fast, this is a new role being created to increase the capacity within the team in the south. This company is a logistics and freight company with various parts to the business. salary £50k + bonus + car allowance+ Mobile phone + laptop. This is a field/remote based role, you must be able to be flexible to meet clients and a team day in manchester every two weeks.
THIS ROLE IS REMOTE BUT YOU MUST BE UK BASED TO ATTEND REGULAR CLIENT MEETINGS EACH WEEK. IT IS A REMOTE / FIELD BASED BDM ROLE.
The role
As a business development manager , you will work on winning new business and increase repeat business and extra spend per client. The role will cover Air and Ocean freight, it is remote/field based role and can be based anywhere within england. There is one team meeting every 2 weeks in manchester. This is a varied sales role and will include all the standard duties of a Business Development Manager.
Experience
We are looking for a Business Development Manager from Logistics background with a air/ocean freight sales background.
