Business Development manager in Midlands (field based covering the midlands and southern patch)
Fulltime Position
Business Development Manager required for a Freight forwarding and Logistics company, this is a field-based role, you will be meeting clients across midlands and the south, Business Development Manager £44k + bonus. This is a very established company and they are looking to create this new role to increase the sales side.
The role
As a Business Development Manager you will be identifying possible new companies, you will speak to key contacts in these companies, arrange meetings and hold meetings to secure both freight forwarding and warehouse. You will price the jobs to get the required GP’s and secure repeat business. You will also monitor trends and go after this part of the market. This role will include all the normal Business Development Manager duties.
Experience
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager, with Proven experience in business development or sales within the freight or logistics industry. You will be Excellent communication and negotiation skills. You will also have the Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
