Transport manager / planner in Rochester kent
Fulltime Position
Transport planner required in the Thamesport area, near to Rochester, £40-60k, manage a fleet over over 50 trucks and over 70 trailers. This logistics company hands a wide range of products and has a range of services for clients wanting to move goods to and from the port as well as other destinations. This transport planner role is a very key part of the business.
The role
As a transport planner you will manage the routes for the large number within the fleet. you will plan the routes, ensure the pick up anbd drop off criteria is met, you will ensure the best route is planned for the goods to get the best cost to transport the goods. This role will include all the standard Transport planner duties.
Experience
As a Transport planner you will have around 5 years expeirence as a transport planner and able to manage a large fleet of trucks and trailers. You will have TOPS experience.
