Customs Clearance Clerk required for a Logistics company that imports goods from China. You will be dealing directly with the Manufacturers in China, ideally if you can speak Mandarin it will be an advantage however not essential. Customs clearance clerk, upto £35k, based in the Slough area of London. This is for imports, this company is a logistics company with its own warehouse facilities as well.  This is a growing logistics company and this is a new  role being created. 

The role
As a customs clearance coordinator, you will speak to customers and manufacturers to ensure all the right customs clearance documents are in place. You will enter all the right shipping codes/product codes and ensure they are in place ready for the ship to dock. They will start to launch an air freight service too soon and you will also be involved in air customs documents in time as well as ocean. This role will include all the normal Customs clearance clerk duties.

Expeirence
we are looking for a customs clearance clerk and a good understanding of customs clearance documents. you will be able to work in a time-sensitive role (ie customs). Ideally you will be able to speak some Mandarin but this is not essential at all.
