Fulltime Position
Pastry Sous chef required in the Lymington area for a fresh food kitchen. £16.50 per hour, 48hrs, £41k a year (inc service). This is a fresh food kitchen, using local and seasonal produce. As a pastry sous chef, you will run the pastry section.
The role
As a pastry sous chef, you will work under the head chef to ensure pastry runs smoothly. You will support with the seasonal and local menus for pastry and ensure the pastry fits in well with the main menu. You will write the pastry prep lists for the days and ensure pastry is all ready for service. You will also write the pastry order list. This role will include all the standard pastry sous chef duties.
Experience
We are looking for a pastry sous chef from a fresh food background. You will have a good understanding of pastry and enjoy using seasonal local produce. you will be creative, able to use produce that is in season.
