Road Freight forwarder / Logistics Coordinator (Import/Export) for ROAD FREIGHT required for a required for an international Logistics company. This company has branches in various countries around the world, this role is for the Tamworth office. The company covers a wide range of Logistics functions and work with some big names. Logistics coordinator for Road Freight (imports) upto £27k,
The role:
We are looking for a Road freight Logistics Coordinator within the Road freight department who covers both exports/Imports. This role will include making sure all appropriate documentation is correct, Provide customs clearance instructions to import agents and suppliers / customers on a daily, weekly & monthly basis, Keep the import log up to date. Complete all Import/Export activities correctly and on time including financial, legal and invoicing transactions. The road freight is mainly roll on/roll off into Europe. You will be ensuring you are managing all aspects of the import process and this role will include all the normal Freight forwarder / Logistics Coordinator duties.
Experience:
We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator in a current role within Logistics as a Logistics Coordinator, ideally within Imports. You will be organised and have good attention to detail. This role is on road import/export, so knowledge of roll on/roll off is important. 6 months minimum in a forwarding agent environment – import or export, Previous experience as a Land Freight Operator
