Transport planner in Basildon area
Fulltime Position
Transport planner required for a Freight business in the Basildon area. This role is MONDAY TO FRIDAY (NO WEEKENDS OR BANK HOLIDAYS). Upto £30k and daytime hours (8-6pm). This role is for a established Freight & haulage company. This company has a very settled team, which is fantastic to be able to join a company where the team are settled and roles do not come up that often due to this.
The role:
As Transport planner you will manage the routes and the drivers rotas for around 23 trucks. They have someone who managers all the MOT’s etc, this role is focused on the route planning and the driver planning. This role will include all the other normal Transport planning duties.
Experience
We are looking for a Transport planner with a background as a Transport Planner. You will have a good knowledge of route planning for both time & fuel costs and driver rules etc.
