Freight specialist (OOG sea freight) Position in Aberdeen
Fulltime Position
Freight forwarder required for the Ocean freight desk which is focused on the OOG sea freight market. This role is a specialist role, with these goods not going into a container, you will need to have specialist knowledge to price for these goods and advice clients on the best options to import or export items.
The role
We are looking for a specialist for this freight forwarding desk that is based on sea freight and part of the role is based within the OOG sea freight market. You will plan the best route for both container and OOG goods into and out of the UK. You will ensure the price is correct, the end to end is all inplace and the best route for a cost and timing point is calculated. This role will include all the normal freight forwarding duties of a sea freight desk
Expeirence
we are looking for a candidate with sea freight background and you will need a strong knowledge and experience within the OOG sea freight goods. You will also need sea container freight knowledge as well.Â
