Fulltime Position
Freight forwarding Pricing and Planning Analyst required to work within the Sales and Account Manager team for this Freight forwarding. This is for a National Freight forwarder, based in Manchester.
The role:
As a Freight forwarding Pricing and Planning Analyst you will forecast demand for Ocean freight (deep ocean from China and Far East), Drive margin improvement through contract review and working with commercial teams to identify and meet customer requirements. You will also offer instant prices to the overseas agents who work with this Freight forwarder. This role will include all the normal duties of a Freight forwarding Pricing and Planning Analyst
Experience
We are looking for a Freight forwarding Pricing and Planning Analyst with a strong understanding of rate structures within the logistics business and good knowledge of Sea freight costings / margins.
