Recruitment Consultant - Perm desk.
Recruitment Consultant for one of our Hospitality perm desks. HtE Recruitment is a National agency providing Chefs and Managers to sporting events, Hotels, Restaurants and Bars. Trading since 2007, the company has grown to offer a National service to the Hospitality and Catering industry with Recruitment consultants focused in different areas of the market. HtE Recruitment is looking to expand further over the next few years.
As a Recruitment Consultant you will find dream jobs for Chefs and Managers within the Hospitality and Catering industry. You will source candidates, register them, get to know them and what they are looking for, put them forward to jobs, arrange interviews and support at offer stage.
You will manage a job list, work with clients to understand what they are looking for and deliver fantastic level of customer service. You will be proactive in finding chefs and managers.
This role is office based and we are looking for candidates with good IT and telephone skills.
Over the past 11 years, we have worked with some of the UK's top 5 star hotels, Michelin Restaurants, golf courses, Rosette Restauranrs, 3&4 star hotels and Gastro pubs. We work with very foodie places, which are great products to sell to candidates.
This hospitality industry within the Hotel and fresh food dining market is doing well within the UK. The chef market has a skills shortage, with a lack of chefs in the market place. Our database of over 20,000 candidates helps us be more proactive.
We are based at the Business park at Manchester airport. With parking on site, air conditioned office, 10 min walk from station, 2 mins drive to the M56.
The offices are modern and well kept, we rent from Regus a national serviced office provider. The extra we spend on rent with Regus, means we get a good quality office building to work in.
The location of the office is just off a major motorway within the Airport Enterprise area, based at the Business park.

Our officeHaving a clean, air conditioned office to work in is very important. HtE Recruitment think our work home is as important as our home.

- Office hours are 8am to 5pm (perm team) and 8am to 5.15pm (temp team).
- Easy database to use and simple systems including paper day books, which keep the process easy and simple.
Our current home at the Business park has a cafe onsite for Breakfast and lunches. The food includes hot and cold dishes and healthy items as well.
It is so important during the day our consultants can have hot or cold food, food is so important.
As well as the onsite cafe, we have a microwave in the office room and our own fridge. Consultants can bring food from home to heat up for lunch, if they do not want to use the onsite cafe.
Set lunch breaks, we do not eat and work at the same time, like many agencies. We stop as a team for lunch and eat as much as possible together. It is very important to have a break.
The team went to Hampton Manor to celebrate our 10th birthday. Having a 8 course tasting menu, at michelin level.
The michelin chefs table was fantastic. This also included a night away at the Country house hotel as well as a Michelin meal.
Annual team meal
Our christmas meals have included 2 rosette menus, gastro pubs, Rosette gastro pubs and Rosette hotels. Each year we try and go somewhere new. Most of our socials are based around food, with a mixture of offsite and onsite socials at different points of the year. As well as the annual meal we do cheese/pate day in the office, afternoon teas and other things.
It is very important to give opportunities to our team to learn and grow. This has included team members joining at trade shows, to grow knowledge of the industry. Other training has included 2 team members in 2017 doing a NVQ level 3 in Recruitment and options to do work place degree after a period of time. The on the job training is done within the office from the Director with 15 years in Recruitment.
